About Andy
Andrew “Andy” J. Bertke uses his business and analytical skills to provide clients with sound comprehensive planning ideas. Andy’s methodical, meticulous approach gives his clients great peace of mind – knowing he’s examined the facts, eliminated assumptions, and explored every avenue to find the right solution.
He has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting, including regional and international accounting firms, and has been providing wealth management services for 25 years. He also co-founded a local CPA firm which combined with Barnes Dennig in 2014.
Andy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, with Honors, from the University of Kentucky with a major in accounting as well as a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University with a concentration in taxation. He also serves on the Crestview Hills Office Park Economic Analysis Steering Committee.
Andy fell in love with horseracing when his college statistics professor used it to teach probability, and he’s been committed to the sport ever since – his office is even decorated with racing silks. And, given his drive to look beneath the surface, it might not surprise you that Andy’s a dedicated SCUBA diver who enjoys exploring the waters at his many travel destinations. While his travels have taken him all over the world, a favorite international destination is the Mosel Valley in southern Germany with its castles, sweeping vistas, and outstanding Rieslings. Andy has a wicked-funny sense of humor and is a connoisseur of olives and pickles.
